Notice of Public Hearing and Acceptance of Comments

The Arkansas Energy Office, part of the Arkansas Department of Energy & Environment, will hold a virtual public hearing Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., to accept comments on its Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) Infrastructure State Plan.

Written comments may be submitted:

  • by email, with the subject line “WAP Infrastructure State Plan,” to energyinfo@adeq.state.ar.us;

Written comments will be accepted April 22, 2024 through May 2, 2024 (postmark date).

All financial assistance provided by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services for water bills has been disbursed for eligible applicants. The application portal and call center are permanently closed. I you need assistance with your water bill, please contact your water utility to learn whether they have resources available to help.
